Registered Acupuncturist
De-Arne Campbell is a registered acupuncturist, having graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Applied Science in 1994 from the Australian College of Natural Medicine in Brisbane, Australia.
The journey of To the Point Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine began in 1994, when the practice was first opened. The philosophy of the practice is one based on education. Here at To the Point we firmly believe in the individual becoming the driver of their health, and this can only occur with education and empowerment. Through understanding the anatomy and physiology of the body, the pathogenesis of disharmony and how to restore balance through the use of acupuncture, herbs, diet and lifestyle, the individual becomes empowered in the journey back to wellness and vitality.
De-Arne’s philosophy is that food is our first form of medicine, and by incorporating her extensive knowledge on foods and their healing properties into her consultations, she is able to provide patients with a solid platform for the journey to health and vitality. Education within a consultation includes exercise, sleep and general lifestyle choices as these all play an integral role in achieving the optimal outcome for our health and wellbeing.
Workshops and seminars for women’s health are also a strong interest for De-Arne. Her seminars for teenage girls include teaching about the road to puberty, gynaecology and sex education. She regularly runs wellness seminars, gynaecological, fertility and ante/post natal talks for adults.
De-Arne has held positions as a curriculum board member for ACNM (which later became Endeavour College), as a tutor, clinical supervisor and adviser for Endeavour, and as an Examiner and Board Member of AACMA. She is a current member of AACMA.
