Registered Acupuncturist and Herbalist
Chee is a registered acupuncturist and herbalist, and graduate of the four year Bachelor of Health Science (Chinese Medicine) at Southern School of Natural Therapies in Melbourne, Australia.
Chee enjoys a generalist approach to her Chinese Medicine practice, and has a special interest in the prevention of 21st century chronic diseases brought about by our modern day lifestyle, diet and/or a genetic pre-disposition.
By drawing on her experience and extensive knowledge, Chee enjoys helping patients to return and maintain a healthy state of being, all the while restoring their vitality. This interest arose following the loss of a parent to the complications of diabetes, which along with the more recent development of her Chinese Medicine knowledge, she believes could have been prevented. Her desire to help her patients achieve their optimal level of quality health is driven by having witnessed the related physical and emotional struggles, and experiencing first hand the stress and impact on the extended family and loved ones during this time.
In the corporate environment Chee witnessed the demands and struggles faced by people in balancing their health with the expectations of modern day life. She strives to work with her patients to overcome challenges in their journey to attain a healthy life balance. In effect, Chee’s goal is to help the patient become the driver of their own health and wellbeing, creating a true sense of vitality.
As a certified yoga instructor, her knowledge and experience of yoga history, philosophy and teaching, provides a perfect complement to her Chinese Medicine practice.
Chee is available for appointments on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, and is looking forward to meeting you and sharing your journey towards true health and vitality.
